We've created the #StayHomeZone to bring resources as well as educational and fun activities you and your kids can do while staying home and staying SAFE! We are all in this together and we will persevere with strength, compassion and community.

Free online education resources
Scholastic's free Learn At Home program offers 3 weeks of curricula that will keep your student learning while schools are closed. The program includes daily lessons categorized for grades pre-K-K, 1-2, 3-5 and 6-9. Lessons include up to four different learning experiences based on stories and videos. These activities are fun and engaging and can be done with your learner or they can do them on their own. Activities can last up to three hours and are compatible with any device. Don't forget to do the Daily Reading Quests for each grade level as well! Use the hashtag #ScholasticLearnAtHome and you may show up on their feed.
Khan Academy's mission is to provide free, world-class education to everyone, everywhere. They have released Daily Schedules for students in Pre-k through grade 12 to follow from home while schools are closed. Khan Academy's Remote Learning Resources for parents and teachers also provide guides and information for getting started with Khan Academy. Available in over 40 languages, their exercises, quizzes and tests can keep your students on track. For early learners, ages 2-7, they recommend the Khan Academy Kids app available on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon App stores.
Lakeshore is an educational supply store for teachers and parents. By visiting their Resources page you will find over 1000 free resources to keep your student learning at home. Lakeshore includes Writing Prompt Calendars, Lesson Plans and Printable Worksheets for Pre-K through 5th grade students. They also allow you to create your own flash cards and word searches using their online templates. Lesson Plans are included for Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies and are categorized by grade level.
